Following the stunning success of Mega Show Part 1 (13th Hong Kong International Toys & Gifts Show and 12th Asian Gifts & Premium & Household Products Show) concluded a few days earlier, the re-positioned Mega Show Part 2 as the runner-up session of the Mega Show Series, continued to pick up the momentum carried forward from the Part 1 show to draw in tremendous buyer attendance.
Held from October 28 to 30, 2004, Mega Show Part 2, hosted by Kenfair International Limited, took up the two full halls of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. A total of 878 exhibitors in 973 booths made a parade of their latest products at the 3-day show to lure the keen buyers from across the globe. This come-back session of Mega Show Part 2 has once again brought together quality suppliers from across the Asian region, including: China, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The aisles were filled with an influx of eager buyers, amounted to a record total 15,189, a staggering 28.6% increase over the previous year. These buyers went great lengths booth by booth to make sure they would not miss any great products on offer at the show. According to the organizer, a large number of buyers flew from North America and Europe, while Japanese buyers also showed growing support.

The organizer, Kenfair International, decided this year to bring back Mega Show Part 2 with a strategic twist by blending this show with its giant flagship October Shows into the "Mega Show Series" to create expanded opportunities for buyers and exhibitors. It was particularly a much-welcome move by those exhibitors who were not being able to be accommodated in the ever-oversubscribed Mega Show Part 1. Then, the perfect timing of this Part Two session, which was run in between Mega Show Part 1 and the Canton Autumn Fair (held in Guangzhou of China) had put a perfect match to buyers' autumn sourcing trip in Asia.
The Asian products of impeccable quality at competitive prices continued to be the stars of the show. The exhibits list covered toys and games, advertising premiums, baby items, ceramics, consumer electronics, Christmas decoration, glassware, craft items, fashion accessories, silverware, wickerwork, and many more. Many of the showcased products were style-oriented, trendy, and highly demanded by consumers worldwide. Products made of natural materials such as wood and natural fabrics were especially popular, while new gardening items, like birdhouses, also had caught buyers' attention. Meanwhile, suppliers specialising in Christmas decorations also took Mega Show Part 2 as a chance to introduce their latest collections for the coming festive season.
Among the upbeat mood felt in the show, many buyers were highly impressed by the 2nd Mega Show Part 2 to live up to their expectation. Hereunder are some quotes from the buyers:

Apart from being a great platform for global buyers to source their desired products, Mega Show Part 2 also serves as the perfect venue for the participating exhibitors to meet with their long-time customers as well as to establish new contact with potential business partners. Most of the exhibitors had managed to secure on-site and under-negotiation orders. They were also excited about all the new prospects they generated there.
